Topic Selection for Wetlands Research Project

I am actually looking forward to another research project.  For my Wetlands course, I must decide on a topic for a 10 page final research project.  Since I am now volunteering at the Clark County Wetlands Park, I obviously should choose something to research from the park.  And that is exactly what I plan to do.

I am extremely fascinated with the concept of using aquatic life, floral and faunal, to filter runoff water on its travels back to Lake Mead.  My fascination does not end there, however.  I am drawn to the weirs along the Las Vegas Wash.  They were built using demolished casinos and have created beautiful ponds for wildlife to rest and recreate.

It appears that I have some work in store, but I am stoked.  Expect some more snippets from my ongoing project.  This should be fun.
